Summary: After the closing of the Hellmouth, Buffy and the gang united all the Slayers around the world to fight the forces of evil. While on a mission to retrieve a rogue slayer, a chance reunion in Brazil brings Spike and Buffy standing once again on the edge of the unknown. Things have changed, and their stance together remains unstable as Buffy comes to grips with the realization that she is in love with Spike. Both try to fight the the chemistry between them, but what will happen when the chemistry finally sparks?

To play, leave a comment on this post to receive a bingo card and its code to post to your journal.

Please read the rules and the FAQ before you sign up.

If you would rather create your own card, you may do so.

Go to the prompts post and copy the list. You will need commas separating each prompt.
Go to the bingo card generator and paste the list into the designated box (it's the first one on the page).
Choose 5x5 card and the FREE SPACE options.

This community is run on the honor system. The expectation is that you will copy and paste ALL the prompts on this list. We ask that you please DO NOT attempt to rig your card by cherry picking the prompts that you would like to fill. Well...That's no fun. :)

Here are your word prompts for Buffyverse Bingo. Twenty-four words will be randomly placed on a bingo card via the bingo card generator. This list is for your reference to give you an idea of what words might appear on your bingo card. As always, the prompts are open to your interpretation and can be used as a starting point for your fanwork.

Please Note: If you end up with a particular character you hate or an episode of Angel and you've never watched the show, you have veto power to exclude it off your card.

Example: You get Riley on your card, you can tell the mods that you'd like to veto Riley and will replace that prompt with something different.

3. Please remember to tag your posts appropriately. Necessary tags are round #, what type of bingo you got, and "completed bingo." We highly recommend tagging which prompts you used to create your bingo. It lets creators see how others interpreted the prompt, as well as allows consumers to find all the fanworks for prompts that appeal to them.

Buffyverse Bingo Game Play

1. Request a bingo card on the sign-up post.

2. Look at the card and figure out which bingo line you'd like to fill. To fill a square, please follow the guidelines posted HERE.

3. Your first goal is to fill in enough squares to make bingos (straight lines on the card, horizontal, diagonal, vertical, or a blackout of every square on the card). You must make a bingo of some kind if you want to win the round. If you make a bingo and post it during the round, congratulations! You win!

4. Post to the comm with your original fanwork.

5. After the main round is over, amnesty begins. During amnesty, you no longer have to post full bingos. You can post any number of completed fanworks you have created for the bingo challenge if you still want to share them.

Buffyverse Bingo is a low-pressure prompt challenge community for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series. All bingo fills must be Buffyverse centric. This includes the BtVS/Angel series, Dark Horse Comics, and the new Boom!Comics reboot of BtVS. Sign up to participate, and you will get a bingo card with 24 prompts for you to fill using various artistic mediums. You then decide how you want to make your bingo (a single straight line, horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or blackouts). You may fill prompts in any form of fanwork such as: fics, icons, gifs, meta, picspam, videos, drawings, etc. However, to keep things fair, there are MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH TYPE:

Banner/wallpaper: 1 (must be 350 pixels either height or width)
Fanfic: 500 words
Fan Mix/Soundtrack: 1 fanmix (cover art with minimum 5 songs)
Gifs: 4
Headers: 1
Icons: 10
Manip: 1 (500x500 pixels in size minimum)
Meta: 1000 words
Mood theme: 10 moods
Original art (digital or hand drawn): 1
Podfic: 500 word fic
Poems: 10 lines
Videos: 30 seconds

Once you've completed a bingo, you can post it directly to the community OR link us to your fanworks in one post and tag it "Completed Bingo!"

This bingo challenge will run twice a year.
